I believe inspiration can be found in normal everyday occurrences. Taking ordinary moments and making them a little extraordinary.  I was motivated to create the Little Yellow Ribbon Kitten because of my interest in animals. It is based on a kitten experiencing the common everyday streets of its hometown. My animation takes a few routine moments and shows them for the fantastic experiences they can be. The plain yellow ribbon helps to illustrate that the kitten had a simple life until it was suddenly put outside into the town’s bustling environment. I strive to show the kitten’s curiosity and adaptability to its environment. I hope the viewer comes away with a joy of appreciating the simple things in life.
