Some artists try and make a statement and others try to express themselves. To me, I make art for the sole purpose of making exciting and entertaining images for people. I don’t have anything profound to say, just a want to entertain. Money Flies is based off of old Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry cartoons. I love animating, animating is fun for me, and the animation and humor expressed in those cartoons are certainly fun. Money Flies exists as a sort of test of skills or a proof of concept for me. Making fun wacky and cartoonishly violent animation was a challenge and a blast. Hope you enjoy the same amount of fun watching Money Flies as I did making it.
